Da Chen Forever

We launched Woodhall Press with the mission to publish high-quality books that bigger publishers weren't noticing. We were lucky to have the support of Fairfield University's MFA program (our alma mater), including one of our favorite mentors, Da Chen.

When we published our first book, Mentoring Teenage Heroes, Da provided his endorsement: “A beautiful synthesis of coming of age struggles from literature and real life. We mourn his passing this week and remember him with gratitude for his support, his teachings, his writings, and his inimitable joie de vivre.
