Jenny Klion - Flash Nonfiction Funny survey responses

Fiction or Nonfiction?

My life has unfolded in near fictional ways, so I'd say: nonfiction.

Is it harder to write funny or sad?

What's funny is that when I write funny, it's sad. And vice versa.

Long form or short form?

Short form, because that's how much attention span I have. Also, I am very short.

Poetry or prose?

I'd like to say poetry, but I'm a prose person. Poets are far cooler, though.

Boxers or kickboxers?

For me, or my guy?

Piece that you read and said Wish I’d thought of that?

The screenplay and film of Groundhog Day. I really, really wish I'd thought of that. And worked with Bill Murray.

Phil: "What would you do if you were stuck in one place and every day was exactly the same, and nothing that you did mattered?"

Ralph: "That about sums it up for me."

Cloned or frozen?

Neither!

Book you read and reread?

Embarrassingly enough: Lynn Andrews's Medicine Woman, as well as all things related to The Honeymooners.

When writing is going well…

I wish I could show my dead mother. See, I was trying to be funny, but it's sad!

Desert Island Book?

Jenny Klion, "Jobs, A to Z"
