Ferne Pearlstein is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Brooklyn Jewish Hall of Fame, with postgraduate degrees in documentary film from Stanford and in photography from ICP, She won the Sundance Cinematography Prize for her work on Imelda and is one of only a handful of women in Kodak’s “On Film” campaign in American Cinematographer. She has had four features premiere at Tribeca, most recently the critically acclaimed The Last Laugh, which was released theatrically in over 25 cities, broadcast on PBS’s Independent Lens, and screened at over 100 film festivals worldwide.

I just read about Erne Pearlstein’s incredible journey in film, from Sundance wins to Tribeca premieres, and it really inspired me. It reminds me of how much I enjoy finding small, addictive distractions like Crossy Road when I need a quick creative break between projects
