This is like asking me to choose between Strawberry Shortcake and Tuxedo Cake. I won't, and you can't make make me.
Is it harder to write funny or sad?
Neither. Much harder to write schadenfreude and spell it correctly.
Long form or short form?
For epic poems, I recommend sticking to lengthy. In haiku, go for short.
Poetry or prose?
I'll answer with a question of my own: Chocolate fountain or cheese fondue?
Boxers or kickboxers?
Ice dancers for the win because sequins.

Eufemia Fantetti holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph in one hand, and a cup of coffee in the other. Her work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, Event Magazine, and The New Quarterly. She is a recipient of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Award and her short fiction collection, A Recipe for Disaster & Other Unlikely Tales of Love, was runner up for the Danuta Gleed Award and won the Bressani Prize. She teaches at Humber College.
