Call for Submissions
Woodhall Press is currently open for submissions for Flash Nonfiction COVID-19: 73 Short, True Stories from the Front Lines of the Pandemic.
This collection of flash nonfiction focuses on the stories of nurses, medical professionals and others on the front lines of the pandemic. We want to preserve and amplify these essential voices and stories of the people who keep us alive.

Length: 750 Words Maximum

Reading Fee: None
Submission Dates: May 16 – June 30, 2020
Publication: Fall 2020
Email your manuscript in MLA format to flashnonfictioncovid@gmail.com by June 30th. Include your name and contact information within the manuscript. Nonfiction, 750 Word Limit. Indicate if the work is previously published, and that you have permission to reprint.

Woodhall Press is a small press based in Norwalk, Connecticut. Our books include fiction, essays, nonfiction, and poetry. We have previously published the flash collection Flash Nonfiction Funny, edited by Dinty W. Moore of Brevity Magazine. We will be publishing two other compendiums of flash nonfiction in 2020: Fast Funny Women and Flash Nonfiction Food.
