Sarah Wesley Lemire - Flash Nonfiction Funny survey responses

April 28, 2018

Fiction or Nonfiction?
I prefer the National Enquirer, which routinely utilizes both.

Is it harder to write funny or sad?

“F-u-n-n-y” because there are more letters.

Long form or short form?
Long, only because I usually end up taking a lot of deductions.

Poetry or prose?
I do my best work in sonnets.

Boxers or kickboxers?
Personally, I like briefs, but kickboxers could be interesting under the right circumstances.

Piece that you read and said Wish I’d thought of that?
The Declaration of Independence.

Cloned or frozen?
No one said this was going to be a multiple choice test?

Book you read and reread?

The phone book.

When writing is going well…

I get paid.

Desert Island Book?
The Dummies Guide to Boat Building
