Something may start as nonfiction, then turn into fiction—or vice versa.

Is it harder to write funny or sad?

It’s harder to write sad and way more enjoyable to publish funny.

Poetry or prose?

Oddly enough, sometimes people say I really liked your poem, and to me, that most certainly wasn’t a poem.

When writing is going well…

I feel energized and start thinking about making huge life changes.
